Backorders

BACKORDERS

 In most cases your Sales Rep will be able to notify you of any backordered items at the time the order is placed.

Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Backordered items may be charged the current price when shipped. Shipping charges apply to all backorders. We will contact you once your backordered items are available. If we do not receive a reply within 1 week the backorder will be cancelled.

As long as the minimum qualifying amounts or items  for a kit or quantity discount were shipped and charged on an original order, then backorders from that order will retain the original discounts.

Example: If an order contains 6lbs of glass, and 1lb of glass is backordered, both the 5lbs of glass shipped and the 1lb of glass backordered will qualify to receive the 5lb discount.

However if an order contains 5lbs of glass, and 1lb of glass is backordered, neither the 4lbs of glass shipped or the 1lb of glass backordered will qualify to receive any quantity discounts.
